The tour starts at our ranch where you meet the horses and saddle up for your ride, you w...ill then receive a briefing from our friendly and experienced staff before heading out through the magnificent Kalbarri Country. Our guides lead you through the relaxing forest grounds and across the banks of the Murchison River. Witness the playful kangaroos, the magnificent seasonal bird life, a vast colour wheel of wildflowers in season and the wonder of natural castle rock, finally cooling off through the crystal waters as you take your horses through the river. The ranch has 27 horses catering for those wishing to ride.
Sit on the veranda and watch the horses in their environment right outside your door. Help with the feeding the horses if you like.

No refund with cancellations less than 48hrs of notification. 50% refund with cancellations over 48hrs. Children must be 10 yrs of age and minimum 30kg weight. Maximum weight restrictions apply at 98kg. We reserve the right to alter or cancel a ride, if customer does not meet weight & age restrictions and if it is in the best interests or safety of the riders or horses. NO intoxicated persons will be allowed to ride and a 'no refund' policy will be applied. If customer does not meet required weight and age restrictions no refund will be issued.

Sunset Ride
We did the sunset ride, Sarah & Jason were our guides and Jason was brilliant especially as I was a little nervous, well worth the visit and they have accommodation and camping site available too.Trail ride along the Murchison
If someone is looking for an activity in Kalbarri I can thoroughly recommend this. The horses are in brilliant condition, clearly happy and well cared for. Well trained. Friendly staff, owners warm and welcoming. Big spread of experience on the ride and everyone was taken care of. Dave and I stayed a week on the caravan park at Big River Ranch so that I could go horse riding.The caravan park was very comfortable. Lovely to have a good grassy site with a view!
Horse riding was very enjoyable! Sarah was a very knowledgeable guide. All the horses are very well cared for. I had two rides- a morning one and an afternoon one.
I would recommend the experience to all who visit the Kalbarri area.
