A TASTE OF THE ORD VALLEY - Morning Tea With A Twist!

Lake Argyle's newest tour explores the incredible tastes surrounding our beautiful lake. This exclusive experience focuses on bush tucker and local Ord River produce to create a morning tea that will have your taste buds singing!

The adventure to your morning tea takes you down to the base of the Argyle dam and into the picturesque Ord River gorge.

Your unique morning tea includes:

Kununurra lime cheesecakes
Wild passionfruit muffins
Chia seed ANZAC biscuits
Croissants served with wild hibiscus jam and Kimberley honey
Seasonal Ord River Valley fruit
Freshly squeezed juice
Lemon myrtle bush tea
Wattle seed coffee

On top of your scrumptious morning tea you will sample bush tucker, discover Argyle history and explore some of the region's fascinating wildlife, plants and their incredible uses!

Join us for one of the most exclusive and unique dining experiences Australia has to offer!

Your fine dining camp oven dinner overlooks the vast Lake Argyle from a private lookout. Soak in the ambiance of a Kimberley sunset as it transforms into a star-lit sky, the perfect setting for your 3 course gourmet dinner.

All dishes are created with an emphasis on flavour and freshness using a combination of locally sourced produce and bush tucker.


Enjoy a potato rosti and local-caught barramundi stack cooked over the coals. Seasoned with native pepperberry and saltbush and served with Ord Valley tomatoes, a balsamic glaze, a lemon and Kimberley honey drizzle, freshly blended herbs and Ord River lime.

Crispy skinned pork belly slowly cooked in the camp oven and smoked over Indian Sandalwood embers. Served with an apple and cinnamon sauce, basil infused damper and the Kimberley salad (kapok, chia, melon, mint and rocket, all sourced from the Ord River Valley, with a Kununurra lime dressing).

The specialty dessert is a warm Ord River rum and chocolate brownie. Served with vanilla bean ice cream, salted caramel sauce, wild rosella and dusted with powdered boab.

Cancellation fees: 3.5% cancellation fee at any time. 50% charge from 7-3 days and 100% charge within 48 hours of departure.

Amazing Experience !
My partner and I joined Josh for the combo tour during early August. Josh was incredibly accomodating and professional throughout the entire tour and It was really great to share in his knowledge and love for the Kimberley region.
The entire day was filled with amazing food, wonderful music and overall, was a really great experience!

Put this tour on your bucket list for 2020.
Not only for our welcomed tourists but locals too!
Having lived in the region for nearly a decade I gained so much more knowledge of our flora & fauna from our affable tour guide Josh.
Despite it being one of the last tours for this season, Barbara’s fresh delivery and unpretentious nature was warm and I loved her home and surrounding in the bush ??

Wonderful morning / evening
We got picked up at 8am by a very happy Josh, off we went to see some rock Art, eat some boab nuts and try some yellow flowers, then off to Roy's retreat, a soft release wildlife reserve, we were meet by Barbara who told us some great love stories, we had an amazing morning tea, thanks Josh.
We returned back to the caravan park, where we went into the infinity pool (freezing)
Josh picked us up at 4:30pm to take us to the look our for dinner, we were meet by Tamsen with a nice cold alcholic ginger beer, the views are to die for, the food was 1st class, Josh sang a few songs
