Directions to A River Cottage, Margaret River: (Assuming you are approaching from the north or Perth side of Town)

Once in Margaret River continue on the Bussell Hwy until you are approximately in the middle of town. Look for Willmott Ave. It is a "T" junction and has the Margaret River Hotel on the corner. Turn left into Willmott Ave and drive up the hill past Woolworths on your left and the Post Office on your right. Once over the top of the hill you will see that the road has a large dip and at the bottom of the dip on the left there is a timber sign indicating "Arcadia Chalets".
Drive left down the entry immediately after the sign and follow the narrow private road. The road loops around to the left after about 75m. (Don't go into the parking area at bend in the road). Follow the road around the bend and you will see two double story cottages on your left. A River Cottage is the second one. There is a No15 on the centre verandah post and "A River Cottage" on wall. There is a parking space at the right side of the house and you can also park parallel to the road just past the house.

Follow the road around and you will see the Rammed earth and limestone Boranup Cottage.

If you are using GPS please enter WILDERNESS ROAD as there are two Yates Roads in the shire. Yates Road runs off Wilderness Road at the Caves Road end.
From the Visitors Centre travel south along Bussell Highway.
At the top of the hill turn right into Wallcliffe Road (you will see the high school on the corner.
Travel west along Wallcliffe Road for 5kms until you reach a T junction which is Caves Road.
Turn left in Caves Road and travel 1.7kms along Caves Road and Wilderness Road will be on your right.
Turn right into Wilderness Road and then immediately left into Yates Road.
Travel 1km along Yates Road and you will find Acacia Chalets signposted on your left.

~ From the CAVES ROAD/WALLCLIFFE ROAD intersection continue down WALLCLIFFE ROAD for 6kms. You will pass the carpark turn on your right to Gnarabup Beach.
~ Next left is REIDLE DRIVE, turn left.

Olio Bello is located approximately 3 hours (270 kilometres) drive south of Perth City. Take the Kwinana Freeway south out of Perth, which will become the Forrest Highway. Follow the signs to Bunbury and then to Busselton, travelling via the Bussell Highway.
At the Busselton roundabout turn left onto the Busselton Bypass, following the signs for Cowaramup and Margaret River. At the Vasse roundabout proceed straight ahead, following Bussell Highway through Cowaramup and continuing south a couple of kilometres until you see the signpost for Cowaramup Bay Road. Turn right onto Cowaramup Bay Road and travel approximately 8 kilometres before turning left onto Armstrong Road and arriving at Olio Bello.

From Margaret River continue on Bussell Highway towards Augusta and turn right at the first roundabout into Boodjidup Road. Follow this to the end (passing Xanadu and Redgate wineries) and then turn left onto Caves Road. After two kilometres turn right into Redgate Road. The entrance to Redgate Beach Escape is approximately one and a half kilometres on the right hand side. Alternatively, continue on the Bussell Highway to Witchcliffe town, turn right into Redgate Road in front of the Gull Service Station and follow Redgate Road, crossing over Caves Road, until you see your first glimpses of the ocean.

From the south the most scenic route is north along Caves Road, passing through the Boranup forest and approximately three kilometres past Calgardup cave entrance, you will find Redgate Road, where you turn left towards the beach. From the north, on Caves Road, drive past the turning to Prevelly and continue heading south for approximately nine kilometres. Turn right into Redgate Road and our entrance is approximately one and a half kilometres on the right hand side.

Jewel Chalet is located some 24 kms soth of Margaret River and is accessed off Caves Road at the Boranup Gallery sign.

* Drive south through Margaret River town on Bussell Highway.
* Continue on south through Witchcliffe. 5.5 km past Witchcliffe turn right into Forrest Grove Road (there is a sign on your left indicating Forrest Grove Road).
* At the end of Forrest Grove Road (approx 6 km) turn left into Caves Road.
* Travel approx 5.5 km along Caves Road until you turn left at the “Boranup Gallery” entrance (a sign indicates the Gallery and Chalets).
* A short drive will take you to another sign indicating a left turn to Boranup chalets (before you reach Boranup Gallery) into a gravel track.
* Take the gravel track for a short drive until you see the “Jewel” sign – the chalet is down a limestone road entrance.
* Note: There is a sand track forking off the gravel track, DO NOT take this one and please stay on the gravel track.
* If arriving at night, remember to take a torch.
