You'll be nestled within a serene forest of native bushland, yet conveniently located only minutes from some of the most stunningly beautiful beaches in the south-west and the bustling seaside town of Dunsborough.

Discover the region's attractions and then come home to your accommodation and enjoy the charm and tranquillity of living in the forest, by the sea.

Guests can get their very own eco-experience right on the door step. Take a leisurely walk through the bush, enjoying the high concentration of bio-diversity, including over 140 species of native plants, trees and wild flowers - you will certainly spot some of our native bird species, numerous kangaroos and other native fauna such as possums and bandicoots (after dark).

Feel free to enjoy the on-site facilities, which include a swimming pool, tennis court, barbecue facilities and a children's playground with cubby. Sharing the same grounds are the Bush Shack Brewery - a great spot to chill out, try some home-style brews - and the OM Day Spa.

So whether you enjoy surfing, family fun, bushwalking or simply recharging your batteries, you can have them all when you stay with us.

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies

A refund will be given if accommodation is cancelled 22 days or more before the due arrival date minus a $50 administration charge.

If the cancellation is made 21 days or less before the arrival date the full tariff will be charged.

Check in time is from 2pm which is when reception opens. Reception closes at 5pm. If you choose a more leisurely route down south and arrive later than 5pm your key will be left outside of the reception office in a clearly marked envelop.

All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Yallingup Forest Resort reserves the right to a) check ages and b) refuse bookings where there is not a registered guardian accompanying minors.

Leavers will be refused entry.

All chalets are non smoking.

Unfortunately pets are not permitted at the resort.

Lost property - items found on departure will be kept for four weeks and then disposed of / given to charity unless other arrangements have been made by the owner to recover the item(s).

Accommodation conditions - The person making the booking is responsible for the behaviour of all guests in their party. Wilful and neglectful damages will be the liability of the person making the booking normal wear and tear is not. By confirming the booking the person making the booking agrees that relevant costs can be taken from the supplied credit card upon due notice by Yallingup Forest Resort. Please note that $40/hour will be charged for extraordinary cleaning.


19/40 Hemsley Road, YALLINGUP


Yallingup Forest Resort is located at the northern end of the Margaret River Region, near Yallingup and Dunsborough.

You'll be close to some stunning surf beaches and to the safe, calm waters of Geographe Bay. You'll also be close to numerous vineyards, restaurants and attractions. It's around a three hour drive south by car from Perth, which is approximately 250kms away.

Tip: fill your car up with fuel before getting on the freeway, as there is a lack of fuel stations until you get close to Bunbury. The easiest way to navigate is to follow the signs (!) - note, you don't actually want to go into these towns, just to use them for direction...

Take the Kwinana Freeway away from Perth and head south.
Head towards Bunbury until you see signs to Busselton.
Head towards Busselton until you see signs to Dunsborough.
Head towards Dunsborough until you see signs to Yallingup. Once you're about 4kms past Dunsborough, turn right onto Hemsley Road.
You'll soon find Yallingup Forest Resort. Time to relax!
