Rich timber floors, high ceilings and heritage detailing feature throughout the home, while the upstairs slanted-ceiling lounge—complete with leather couches, a home library and a Smart TV—offers a cosy second retreat to relax and unwind. Whether you're enjoying a quiet evening indoors or gathering for a family meal, the home's colonial character and garden outlook create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

BEDROOMS

Master Bedroom: A beautiful ground-floor suite featuring a king bed, large windows and double doors opening directly onto the cottage garden—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee accompanied by birdsong. Includes convenient access to the main bathroom with a bath and separate shower.

Queen Bedroom: A private upstairs bedroom featuring a queen bed, views over the garden and historic stables, and a walk-in robe.

Upstairs Twin Sleeping Area: A charming slanted-ceiling sleeping area with two single beds, ideal for children or additional guests. This space opens onto a private balcony with glimpses of Princess Royal Harbour.

BATHROOMS

The property features two well-appointed bathrooms:

The main bathroom, complete with a bath and separate shower.
A second bathroom servicing the upstairs accommodation, fitted with a walk-in shower.

EXTERIOR

Wollaston House welcomes guests through a beautifully established cottage garden that sets the tone for a peaceful and private stay. Nestled on the leafy slopes of Mount Melville, the home is full of colonial charm and heritage character. As with many historic homes, the property is accessed via 4–5 steps leading to the main entrance. The surrounding gardens are also home to protected native marsupials, including bandicoots and quendas, which are harmless and generally shy around people.

TO NOTE

All bed linen and bathroom towels are provided for your stay.

There are several staircases throughout the property, including a steep staircase leading to the upstairs accommodation, lounge and balcony. As a result, the property may not be suitable for very young children or guests with limited mobility.

No pets, smoking, parties or functions are permitted.

Outdoor music is not permitted at any time. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 pm out of respect for neighbouring properties.

School leavers' bookings are not accepted at any time of the year.
