A great day of exploration
This town located within a short distance of a large open cut working goldmine is educational and allows you to see what life was like is the early years. The houses have been restored to the original conditions and it is inspiring to see what the early. workers endured you can also explore H Hoovers house.

So much history
Called in here for morning tea at Hoover House. Great spot, so much history to explore and the open cut mine also.

This museum includes the house built by Herbert Hoover some years before he became the President of the USA.
An interesting museum, where you can view a very deep open cut mine, a restored 100 year old mine office and machinery.
