Grittleton Lodge is no ordinary place to spend the night. Built in 1885 as the home of Robert and Esther Forrest — whose family included Western Australia's first Premier — this grand two-storey colonial homestead has been beautifully restored and offers four private heritage suites, each named for the remarkable people who lived here. The Lodge is State Heritage listed, and its stories stretch from the founding of colonial Western Australia to the origins of The Royal Ballet. Every suite is appointed in the Victorian style, with antiques, rich fabrics and private spa bathrooms. The shared drawing room and wide verandah are yours to enjoy at your leisure.
