Suzy French Art

Suzy French is an Australian artist who creates modern landscape artwork on both canvas and aluminium.

Suzy is passionate about the landscape that has been the backdrop to her fortunate life. Having lived across the Kimberley for close to 30 years, her journey with this country has been the inspiration for the work she creates. She holds a strong belief that the natural environment has much to offer us as we go about our fast paced life.

Suzy has been painting with oils for many years. A dedicated artist, she has had 6 highly successful solo exhibitions, and numerous collaborative shows. Her work is held in collections through-out the country and overseas.

The development of the process to create artwork on aluminium panels has been a major break though in her art practice. This is a technique rarely seen in Australia, it has given her work a point of difference and a more contemporary edge. Totally archival, it will never warp with the weather, and can be used in an outdoor living space.

Suzy works out of her Margaret River wine region based Studio Gallery - located on the beautiful Nirvana Estate and is represented by Gallery’s in both Western Australia and Queensland.
Suzy welcomes visitors to her working studio gallery Thursday to Saturday 10am to 4pm.

The entrance to the studio is via the second driveway for Nirvana Estate.

Turn off Bussell Highway onto Beckett Road

Turn down the first track on your right at the top of Beckett Rd – Look for the flags.

Come through the gate and follow the track 700m through forest and farmland to the studio.
