Superb
Beautiful historic pub hotel with modern renovations. Loved the firm mattress (so rare in hotels) and outdoor balcony. We had breakfast outside and really enjoyed it. Huge bathroom with nice fixtures. The new shower has no door or lip on the floor to keep water contained. Water splashes out on to the marble floor, making it dangerous and slippery. The new floor isn’t sloped properly and water runs out to the carpet in the hall. This is going to encourage mold to grow in that carpet.

Comfortable and clean but the toilet was cold
Comfortable and cosy room with decent heating. Even though the train tracks were nearby, the room was well soundproofed and we could hardly hear the train. The room was well cleaned each day. Location was good - some food outlets were nearby, and easy driving access to the airport and swan valley. While the toilet was very big, it was also very cold in winter especially while showering. There was a smell of insecticide (baygon?) in the toilet.

Very good cost
The room was super clean and comfortable. The bathroom super modern, clean, good shower, the hairdryer was a very good one and all the amenities were nice. They have tea, coffee and milk, and a microwave, which gives flexibility, but they are very close to everything (restaurants, pubs, cafes, etc)
