Our urban retro chic bar and restaurant – the best in contemporary casual wining and dining. 12 tap beers, a curated regional wine list, a broad & innovative menu (with a Peruvian twist)Licensed Al fresco sidewalk dining with sweeping harbour views. Urban laneway for some tapas and a tipple – known as ‘The Zoo’ there’s a story to this nook! We also have Live Entertainment! Guest and resident DJ’s spin to get the weekend underway between 10:00 pm up to late on Friday and Saturday nights. Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
Except for all Non-Refundable bookings free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival.
If cancelled within 14 days of arrival the value of one nights accommodation will be forfeited.
If cancelled within 3 days of arrival 100% of total amount of the booking will be forfeited.
All cancellations must be done by contacting the website that the original booking was made on.
In addition there will be a $65 Albany Visitor Centre cancellation fee.
1 nights deposit required at time of booking. Full balance 3 days prior to arrival.

Directions
From large roundabout at entrance to Albany follow the signs to the city centre (York St.), turn right at the top of York St. travelling down hill towards the harbour & turn left when you reach the Stirling Terrace roundabout. The Royal George is on the left hand side.

Stayed in a shoebox room for a week and the service, location and price was all worth 5 stars. For it's price, it's well worth staying. It also has cute decorations on the wall. It has a lot of character and is rather quiet during the weekGreat little harbour view room
I booked the 'harbour view shoebox' room at last minute for one night. Nicely refurbished room with wardrobe, fridge, TV, bedside table, heater and mostly importantly a comfy double bed! Great use of space to make a cosy little budget hotel room. Shared bathrooms (cubicles as opposed to actual bathroom) down the hall. I stayed Saturday night, there is a DJ playing in the pub but I slept through no problem, you can clearly hear the music in the room but it's not excessive. Light sleepers probably wouldn't like it though.Spacious clean and very welcoming staff
Will def be staying again, rooms spacious even with bunks and a double bed.Hot showers, comfy bed. Stayed with me 2 children and husband.
Very comfortable, we will be back
