1. Financial & Payment Rules
Automatic Debits: By booking, you authorize Hometime to automatically charge your card for the balance based on the "Payment Schedule."
Security Deposit: A temporary hold (pre-authorization) is placed on your card up to 96 hours before check-in. If this fails after two attempts, your booking may be cancelled.
Damage Charges: You are liable for all breakages, missing items, or "excessive" cleaning/utility costs. Hometime can deduct these directly from your security deposit or card on file.
2. Booking & Cancellation
The Contract: Your legal agreement is with the Property Owner, not Hometime. Hometime is just the middleman.
Cancellations: Your specific refund rights are found in your Booking Confirmation email, not this general document. Read that carefully.
Non-Transferable: You cannot "give" or sell your booking to someone else.
3. Guest Conduct (The "Deal-Breakers")
Strict Capacity: You cannot have more people or pets than what is listed on your confirmation.
Pets: Bringing a pet to a non-pet-friendly property is grounds for immediate eviction without a refund.
No Commercial Use: The property is for short-term holiday use only; no parties or commercial activities.
4. Liability
Personal Belongings: Your items and vehicles are left at the property at your own risk.
Inaccuracies: Hometime is not responsible for minor differences between photos and the actual property, or for the failure of individual appliances (like a toaster or a specific TV).
5. Contact for Issues
Support: If something is wrong, contact the Host immediately. If they dont help, email guest.support@hometime.io.
