Den Blechyn Walpole

Location, Conveniences and Neighbourhood:
This charming little character home a short stroll away from Walpole’s town centre and the Walpole Inlet foreshore. You won’t need to use a car to access the Bibbulmun Track, beautiful walking trails, bakery, cafe dining, the Hotel and Bottle-O, food shopping, numerous fishing jetties, a basketball and tennis court, and a skate park. All these conveniences and activities are within a few minutes' walk from the home! The Golf and Sailing Clubs are a 5-minute drive away. The nearest boat ramp is a one-minute drive.

We hope Den Blechyn Walpole, with its high ceilings, jarrah floorboards and other vintage touches, will make you very comfortable during your stay. We aim to provide staple creature comforts with nostalgic "down south" feels!

Whilst the house is self-catering, the kitchen is very well-equipped if you like to cook. The house has a vintage bathroom – with a good-sized soaking bath and shower combination. There are books and board games, a cosy wood fire, a reverse cycle AC and a TV with free to air channels in the lounge room. All three bedrooms are roomy, and yes, we do supply hospitality grade bed linen. The house has a quaint little front verandah to enjoy the morning birdsong, and a large enclosed rear patio (also with wood fires) to lounge around, along with an outdoor dining area. There is a secure backyard with ample uncovered parking. The detached laundry is home to a very convenient second toilet.

Walpole township is surrounded by National Parks and is nestled at the edge of pristine Marine Parks – Walpole and Nornalup Inlets.
Den Blechyn Walpole is located approx. 430 km south of Perth, 18km from the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk and 66 km west of Denmark, with numerous wineries, breweries, tourist destinations and activities in the surrounding areas.

From time to time there will be a live band or exterior BBQ function at the Walpole Hotel. On these irregular occasions music and patrons can be heard from Den Blechyn. If you're able to, why not join in the fun of at this "old school" country pub. If not, the Hotel aims to give you your serenity back by 11pm on these rare occasions.

Guest Access:
Wi-Fi: There is NO Wi-Fi, Walpole is a great place to unplug!

Access Considerations:
There are steps and stairs at both the front and rear of the house, and a small step inside the home. Whilst a grab rail is fitted in the bathroom, getting in and out of the bath/shower combination may still be difficult for some guests.

Property Access:
Access is to the entire property apart from a locked storage room, the locked garage and shed located at the rear of the property.

Babies and Children:
NO baby cot or child safety bed provided.

Strictly NO pets:
While the owners of Den Blechyn love animals, there is a strict NO Pets Policy due to serious allergies within the owner’s family. We hope you understand NO pets is a MUST.
