Perched at the meeting point of the Blackwood River and the Southern Ocean, the Augusta Hotel has been a welcoming landmark in the South West for over a century. Built on sturdy limestone foundations in 1912, the hotel has evolved alongside the town, while retaining the charm and character loved by locals and travellers for generations.

Step inside and you’ll still find touches of the original building – from the thick stone walls to the much-loved open fireplace, now uniquely housed in the hotel’s bottleshop. Over the decades, the hotel has grown from a modest country pub into a full accommodation and dining destination, expanding its bars, restaurant and motel units while staying true to its heritage as a relaxed coastal retreat.

Today, the Augusta Hotel offers comfortable rooms, sweeping views over the river and ocean, and a warm country-pub atmosphere shaped by more than 100 years of hospitality. Nestled in one of Western Australia’s most scenic regions, guests are perfectly placed to explore Augusta’s natural beauty – from the rugged coastline and whale-watching lookouts, to peaceful forest trails and the iconic Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.
