Description
The Hyden Hotel Motel is a three star motel offering both standard and executive accommodation. All units have private facilities, televisions, telephones, heating / cooling, tea and coffee making facilities and toasters. Our Executive Suites feature a spa, mini-bar, luxury fittings and a private courtyard. The Motel also has a Gym for our more energetic guests, which features modern exercise equipment.
The Motel has three restaurants, The Bush Bistro, The Gimlet and The Sandalwood. The Bush Bistro is open all year round for lunch (bookings required) and dinner, serving a grill and salad style meal. The Sandalwood Restaurant offers buffet-style dining, catering for large groups and functions. On selected evenings, a la carte dining is available in The Gimlet Restaurant. Breakfast is served daily in the Sandalwood Restaurant and Room Service also available daily.
The Hotel Bar is open daily for all your drinks requirements. We stock a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks, which are available both over the bar and through the Bottle Shop. Have a drink by the fire in winter, or in the beer-garden in summer.
The Salmon Gum Lounge is the ideal place to enjoy a drink, or simply sit back and relax and enjoy our free WiFi. It boasts an open fireplace, luxurious leather lounges, magazines, board-games, complimentary tea and coffee, and a view of the Billabong Pool. The Billabong Pool is solar-heated, and is available for guest use throughout the year.
Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
- Children are 12 years and under.
- Government-issued photo identification and a credit card or cash deposit are required at check-in for incidental charges.
- Special requests are subject to availability upon check-in and may incur additional charges. Special requests cannot be guaranteed.
- Check in time is after 2.00pm and check out is 10.00am.
- No late checkouts permitted.
- After hours bookings only with prior notice. Please ring in advance.
- A booking will not be confirmed until payment is made in full and you have received a confirmation email and invoice/receipt from the Hyden Hotel Motel. Once a booking is confirmed a contract exists with Hyden Hotel Motel and you accept the terms and conditions.
- All damages to property will be charged.
- Bookings alterations or cancellations must be made 7 days prior to your arrival.
- 7 days prior to your arrival - $40.00 cancellation fee applies in every instance.
- Within 7 days of your arrival payment is forfeited in full. No refund is given.
- Please check your holiday carefully.
- Cancellations must be received in writing.

"The rooms were comfortable and well presented and the motel grounds had ample room to relax of a morning or afternoon with friends. We loved the cook your own style bistro and buffet accompaniments and the hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! "Enjoyed the overnight stay here. Stayed in a family room (two rooms with adjoining interior door). Beds and bedding were super comfortable.Dinner options at the time of our stay was BBQ Bistro Or the Restaurant buffet. With the three kiddies we opted for the Restaurant and the food was great. All staff were a pleasure.
Great stopover for us travelling from Esperance to Perth to see Wave Rock.
There is an IGA 1-2min walk or a Roadhouse next door to the motel for any extra conveniences."
Basic but good
"The room was tiny but clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant was really good. Deserts were amazing! Very close to Wave Rock which is excellent to visit. Our host, Sheena, was a treasure and helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. We did a tour with her which was fantastic. Loved this experience."
