Dog friendly Uhuru Chalets are centrally located between Albany, Denmark and Mt Barker providing easy access to all the attractions of the lower Great Southern region.The pristine Cosy Corner Beach is just a short 10 minute drive away,
Both the Wagon and Chalet are fully equipped, self catering and nestled in a secluded bush setting that attracts a wonderful variety of birds and in springtime the wildflowers are abundant. Kangaroos and Bandicoots are frequently seen around the property.

The chalet is designed for 4 people. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. It is completely self-contained and contains everything necessary for a comfortable stay. All guests need to bring is their own food. If booking is for one night only, we do add a "one night stay only" impost of $10.

There will be a $65 Albany Visitor Centre cancellation fee. 50% deposit required at time of booking. Full balance 30 days prior to arrival.

25 kms from Albany or 30 kms from Denmark accessed from the Lower Denmark Road. Turn off Lower Denmark Road at Kronkup North Road and follow the Uhuru Chalet signs.

Delightful!
A delightful modest place to stay, wonderful for birdwatchers & lovers of the bush, Everything you need is supplied including a cosy queen sized double bed. We took our own drinking water just in case , but theirs was fine! Kit & Bev, & Trusty ( their d og) are great hosts too!Pet friendly
Great place to stay with your dog in a quiet bushland area, and it is an ideal spot for exploring the beautiful beaches and country side.
