On the Deck @ Shark Bay provides accommodation in three (3) double rooms. Two of these rooms are situated upstairs with their own ensuites with state of the art shower units the third is located downstairs with its own private bathroom also with a state of the art shower unit.
Each room is: air conditioned has its own refrigerator, crockery, cutlery, toaster, hair dryer, flat screen TV, wireless internet access, a walk in robe and its own safe.
The property also offers guests use of: a fully equipped ???Deck alfresco??? dining area containing:
* a seven burner stainless steel hooded BBQ with additional side burner,
* stainless steel work benches including sink with hot and cold water,

Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation is possible up to 14 days before the scheduled arrival date without the accommodation charge being applied however a $30 administration fee applies per room. Cancellations after this date will attract 100% of the booking fee.
Cancellations need to be in writing either per email or fax. In the event of a NO SHOW the full amount will be charged.
Vaccination Policy
From the 31st of December 2021 On the Deck @ Shark Bay will not accept a booking for any eligible person that is not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or does not commit to such requirement. Where a person makes a booking and is then unable to meet the requirement the customer shall not be accommodated and the cancellation fee will apply.

Beautiful Place
I came with my parents in this place at the beginning of January and it was such an amazing experience, probably one of the best our life.Effectively, the place is beautiful, you can appreciate the view of the kangaroos, rabbits ... and the host were really kind with us even if we didn't speak a perfect English ... they tried to speak with us during the 3 days spent in this place.

Very good, but with reservations
Situated in a really great location, this property is very nicely set up.Kerrie and Phil are a delightful couple offering warm and generous hospitality.
The morning and evening views from the top deck, sun rise and sunset, are gorgeous. Not so though for the third room here, which is on the ground floor.
Breakfast is adequate and do it yourself on a very up market BBQ.
Location to Denham and surrounding points of interest is convenient and just what you want.
Shark Bay is a must visit Australian Heritage site and this property offers an excellent base to undertake your visit.
Just one concern we had though was room privacy. Our room faced onto the deck which is a common space for all guests at the property. To have privacy we had to pull the blinds down. Hence no view, no daylight in the room.
Also Denham is not blessed with any quality restaurants. This may be an issue if you intend to stay a few days in Denham
Only stayed one night,but wish we could have stayed longer
First things first, Phil and Kerrie were amazing hosts. They are incredibly kind and professional and made us feel welcome immediately. We don't expect much from the places we stay, but On the Deck exceeded all of our expectations.It's right on the edge of a reserve, so in the evening you have great views of the sun-setting over pristine, uninterrupted natural beauty. Kangaroos even come and have a bit of a peek at the house towards twilight.
I cannot recommend this lodging enough. I read one review from a reviewer who was unimpressed by their room "Under the Deck", but if you choose the Blue Room, you will not be disappointed.
