York Cottages:

These two bedroom fully self contained cottages are perfect for a country getaway and allow a taste of the country lifestyle. Families,couples and groups can cosy up in one of our self contained stone and steel Cottages with all the creature comforts of home. Each cottage has their own living quarters, kitchen country styling and outdoor areas to watch over the paddocks, animals and surrounding hillside.

Burnley House:

Provides the ultimate getaway for those seeking a more grand style of accomodation. This four bedroom, three bathroom abode is equipped with a large dining /lounge area along with a separate lounge/ theatre room. The country kitchen links directly with the french provincial dining room where you can gather and enjoy the luxury, by the pool whilst taking in the scenery. Come and enjoy the fresh air, wide open spaces, character and charm of our lovely country farm stay in the historical town of York. Our animals are,of course, our greatest hosts. Guests can help at feeding time and mingle with the aplacas, sheep, check for eggs in Cluckingham Palace, or play in Katies Kamp with our resident kangaroo, old girl Katie.

Pets are welcome and we provide an exercise area for them to run free. Try your hand at a game of tennis on our on-site court, shoot a game of pool or and enjoy a BBQ whilst watching the sun set over the rolling hills.

Burnley House

Historic house built on the early 1900s, comprises of four bedrooms, three bathrooms. The house has been updated over the years, with additions in keeping with the character of the home such as timber floors, ornate ceilings and decorative trinkets. There are two living spaces - the main open-plan living and dining area with pot belly fire and breakfast bar into timber kitchen: plus a private lounge/theater room at the front of the property. Verandas surround this majestic old home to allow you to ponder over the flowers, trees, view and grassed area with private playground.give you the feeling of old world luxury. The house has an outdoor pool for your exclusive use. Burnley House comfortably sleeps 8 people.

Pendle Cottage

Pendle Cottage is a delightful stone Cottage with an electric mix of ornate couches and a bright turquoise kitchen that overlooks the Alpaca paddock. Comprises of two bedrooms- one with a double bed and another with a double bed with a single bunk on top. Pendle Cottages comfortably sleeps 5. Timber and corrugated steel bathroom with bath and shower combination. Other features include an open fireplace, air-conditioning, dining area, BBQ, fridge, separate toilet, washing machine, TV, parking at the front door.

Settlers Cottage

Room Configuration: 2 Bedroom
Max Guests: 7

Settlers Cottage has a sleek look, wrapped in Corrugated tin. The front veranda overlooks the main playground area and Katies Kamp. The cottage has two bedrooms - one with a double bed, the other with a double plus single bunk on top along with a double trundle. Settlers Cottage comfortably sleeps 7. Open plan kitchen, dining and living space are warmed by an open fire or cooled by air conditioning. Movable church style pew seating adds character in the dining area. Charming bathroom with separate bath and shower. Separate toilet, washing machine, BBQ, fridge, TV and parking to the side of the Cottage.

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies

Additional rules

Because we have livestock we ask that pets are kept on a lead at all times outside the designated pet exercise area where they are able to run free.
We also ask that they do not go on the furniture and they accompany you when you go out.

We only offer three nights over long weekends.
Payment Policy

20% deposit on booking and remainder 2 weeks before arrival
Cancellation Policy

14 days notice is required.
Cancellation within one week prior to booking will incur a 50% payment fee.

Great for small or big groups!

We loved the fireplace, electric blankets, alpacas, kangaroo, fenced playground, would love to come back in summer!
The stars at night were just amazing!
Kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
The playground, skate park and bridge at Avon Park nearby was a hit with the kids too.
We stopped by John Forrest National Park on the way back to Perth and realised we should have planned a full day at the place! Maybe next time we will go there on the way to York Cottages

Walking distance to town but ocuntry views, cosy cottage I will visit again!

I stayed at the Settlers Cottage, the corrugated iron exterior had beautiful wooden furniture and a homely atmosphere inside. We enjoyed the fire and the bath! The beds were very comfortable, especially the pillows. York town is walking distance, which is great after eating all the great food on offer from town! Also I made friends with the alpacas and kangaroo on site :)
