From its humble beginnings as a dirt-floor cottage in 1900 to its transformation into a two-story home in 1916, Whispering Pines has witnessed the evolution of Albany, the oldest settlement in Western Australia. Nestled at the doorstep of this historic town, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of colonial charm and natural beauty.
Explore the nearby Museum of the Great Southern, a regional history and culture treasure trove. Step aboard the Brig Amity, a full-size replica of a 19th-century merchant vessel, and imagine the tales it could tell. Or savour the atmosphere of The Earl of Spencer Historic Inn, a pub with roots in the 1800s, where you can enjoy a pint and soak up the local history.

Terms & conditions if your plans change
Cancellations:
Full refund if cancelled at least 30 days before check-in.
50% refund if cancelled between 7 and 30 days before check-in.
No refund if cancelled less than 7 days before check-in.
Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking (for bookings made more
than 7 days before arrival).
Check-In & Check-Out:
Check-In: From 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Check-Out: By 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Late Check-Out: Subject to availability and may incur a fee. Must be arranged in advance.
Keys: Provided via lockbox. Codes will be sent prior to arrival.
Guest Responsibilities:
Occupancy: Only the number of guests specified in the booking are permitted to stay overnight.
Conduct: Guests must behave responsibly and not cause a nuisance to neighbors.
Excessive noise, parties, or unauthorized functions are prohibited.
Quiet Hours: After 10:00 PM until 7:00 AM on weekdays, and after 10:00 PM until 9:00 AM on weekends and public holidays.
Cleanliness: Properties must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Extra cleaning charges may apply if left unsatisfactory.
Security: Guests are responsible for securing the property during their stay.
Damage: Any damage or loss must be reported immediately. Costs will be charged to the guest.
Smoking/Vaping: Strictly prohibited inside the property. Breaches may incur
additional cleaning fees.
Pets: Only permitted at pet-friendly properties with prior approval. A per night, per pet fee applies. Guests must clean up after pets.
Additional Services
Linen: Provided and included in the cleaning fee.
Mid-Stay Cleaning: Available on request. For stays longer than 2 weeks, a
complimentary mid-stay clean (including linen change and consumables top-up) is provided.
