Description

Situated just a short walk from Wave Rock, the Wildflower Shoppe incorporates the Wave Rock Visitor Centre, Cafe and Country Kitchen, Wildlife Park, Wildflower and Souvenir Shoppe, Lace Place, and Tours and Airport Booking Office. The Centre has a wide range of Australiana souvenirs for sale, including emu, tea tree and lanolin oils, iron ore jewellery, wool products, clothing and film. The fittings and fixtures of the Wildflower Shoppe are built from natural bush timbers.

On display in the Centre are vintage cars, a dray, and old stoves used by our early pioneers. Together with a granite fireplace with a huge kettle flue, they create a warm inviting atmosphere. The Country Kitchen caters for coach groups, individual bookings and private functions (special rates are available). Special dietary requirements can be catered for on request.

Our air-conditioned lunch area can accommodate up to 200 people, and the decking al fresco area overlooks a natural billabong, where swans and other birdlife can be observed while you are enjoying your meal. Walk through the Visitor Centre to the Wildlife Park, a beautiful haven for birds and animals. All exhibits are kept in their natural bush surroundings.

Tours available include Wildflower Tours (spring), Wildlife Tour (Includes Wildlife Park), Aboriginal Tour to Wave Rock, Farm / Eco Tour, Beginner Sailing Lessons, Camping and Bushcraft and also Bus Charters.

Best Cafe
Since today I went to wave rock, and there are no other restaurants nearby, and wave rock cafe is the only one. Though it is the only choice, and surprisingly the food is quite ok. The potatoe soup is a bit thick. The roast chicken in bbq sauce is really tender and tasty! And the sausage is very meaty and rich in Pork flavor. The best of all is the coffee, they got nice soy cappuccino! Yummy!

Wonderfull spot
A cafe with old school feel. Right across the road from wave rock cabins and caravan Park. There's free WiFi here which is a relief as there's no network anywhere in the area. You buy the tickets here for wild life park, lace museum and toy soldier museum. This cafe was very busy on the Easter break as expected.
