Untamed Escapes diverse experiences include camping adventures, luxury gourmet getaways, wellness retreats, Indigenous culture, wildlife and conservation. If off-the-shelf isn't your style, we can handcraft a tailor-made experience to suit your needs.

We partner with the best suppliers and wellness practitioners in our regions and introduce travellers to the local makers, creators, growers and characters. Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION POLICY
A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation. If you cancel a tour the following conditions apply:
- Cancellations 31 days or more before departure: we will provide a 100% travel credit with unlimited validity or a 100% refund within seven days.
- Cancellations between 15 and 30 days before departure: we will provide a 100% travel credit with unlimited validity. Or refund the 25% deposit less a $100 cancellation fee.
- Cancellations 3 – 14 days before departure: we will retain the 25% deposit as a cancellation fee and offer a 75% travel credit with unlimited validity. Or refund 75% balance within seven days. Cancellations 1-2 days before departure or failure to board the tour: will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- Day tours can be cancelled for free up to 24 hours before departure time.
COVID-19 CANCELLATIONS
If the cancellation is due to government-imposed restrictions or border closures: you will be provided with an instant 100% credit with unlimited validity. If this is not suitable you will be provided with a 100% refund within seven days.
If the cancellation is due to you having COVID-19 or ‘flu-like symptoms in the 48 hours before departure: if a medical certificate is provided we will hold 100% of monies paid by you in connection with the booking as credit with unlimited validity.
CANCELLATION BY US
Our tours are guaranteed to depart once they have met the minimum group number which is stated in the Know Before You Book section on the individual itineraries.
If we cancel your tour (except for when a Force Majeure Event occurs) you can transfer amounts paid to another departure date or receive a 100% refund. If the tour is cancelled because minimum numbers have not been met we will refund your tour price in full.
If you leave a trip for any reason after it has commenced we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services.
Cancellation due to Force Majeure
If a tour is cancelled due to a Force Majeure Event we can offer you a choice of
(a) a 110% credit of monies paid for your trip; or
(b) a refund minus unrecoverable costs.
If the cancellation due to a Force Majeure Event occurs after a trip has commenced we can offer you a choice of a pro-rata:
(a) 110% credit for the days that remain on your trip; or
(b) refund minus unrecoverable costs of the days that remain on your trip.
Any credit resulting from cancellation under the Force Majeure clause does not have an expiry date and may be applied towards any other available tour offered by us. The credit is not redeemable for cash and excludes third party operators as they will have their own booking conditions. In such circumstances there will be no claim for damages by either party against the other and we are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas vaccinations travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.
If you are unable to continue travelling with us due to a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 we can offer you a travel credit for the unused days of your trip. VACCINATION POLICY
In accordance with Government regulations passengers over the age of 16 wishing to participate on any Untamed Escapes tours must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Only fully vaccinated passengers or passengers who have an official medical exemption (medical certificate or letter from an approved medical practitioner with matching personal photo identification) will be permitted to board the vehicle. Children over 16 years old must be fully vaccinated whilst children under 16 years old do not need to be vaccinated if accompanied by fully vaccinated adults.
We accept the following vaccination evidence:
• COVID-19 Digital Certificate saved to smartphone • Printed Copy of COVID-19 Digital Certificate with Photo ID • Printed Copy of Immunisation History Statement with Photo ID • Australian Immunisation Registry (AIR) – Immunisation Medical Exemption Form IM011) with Photo ID
Passengers will be asked during the online check-in process 48 hours before if they are fully vaccinated and proof of vaccination will be sighted by our Tour Guide before boarding the bus.

A must-do tour in the South-West of Western Australia
Go south-west to get the western blue skies and avoid the excessive heat of the north. You also get the greener landscapes (can even be a bit chilly at the south), the deep forests, a taste of aboriginal culture at the Ngilgi cave (get a copy of the Josh Koomal Dreaming CD !). A most recommendable experience all with the relaxed style of Nullarbor Traveller. We had a cool guide (Sean), a good bus, incredible camping places, kangaroos in the fields, stunning starry skies! Most tours in Australia only take you to the icons. This one shows you amazing places off the beaten track. I did the Perth to Adelaide tour which you can swim with the sea lions ,dolphins and also get in the cage with the great white sharks. We saw every native animal possible kangaroos ,koalas ,wombats. If you want to see the real Australia get on this tour today!!!Tour through Southern Australia
I did the 10-days trip from Adelaide to Perth in January 2017. It was just perfect. The tour guide, Annelies, was such a brilliant person who made the trip a pleasant adventure in the middle of nowhere. If you do it, just keep in mind that you're gonna be in the probably most remote region of Australia. Thus, it gives you a huge insight into the natural and wild side of the country. Camping under the stars, showering with buckets, swimming with seals and many other great moments will await you... It's amazing, I would immediately do it again.
