Our hire boats range in sizes from 3.8m dinghies, ideal for fishing, diving, and snorkelling inside the Ningaloo Reef and down Exmouth Gulf, to 7.85m plate aluminium boats.

The larger boats cater for the more serious angler who wishes to venture out the back of Ningaloo Reef, the Muiron Islands, Mackerel Islands or head across Exmouth gulf to the many islands (Robert Island, Brown Island, Why and Eva Island).

The Ningaloo Reef and its protected waters lie about 1200km north of Perth. The park stretches for 260km from Bundegi Reef at the tip of the Exmouth Gulf then around North-West Cape to Amherst Point, south of Coral Bay. It is the only large reef in the world found so close to a land mass; about 100 meters offshore at its nearest point.

The Exmouth Gulf and its multitude of islands provide protection from the open ocean and the sea breeze which means that there is always somewhere to fish, dive or simply enjoy a day out on the water in Exmouth.

Exmouth and the Ningaloo Coast offers a huge range of fishing environments that are home to a huge variety of top quality reef, game and sport fish.

Popular species such as red emperor, rankin cod, esturine cod, malabar grouper, coral trout, bluebone, snapper(spangled, blueline emperor), coronation trout and the list goes on…

The Ningaloo Reef follows the coast of Exmouth, and just 2 miles from its edge is the continental shelf. Beyond this, the ocean floor drops into a series of canyons up to 1000 meters deep. This provides an ideal hunting ground for large pelagic fish.

Exmouth is inhabited by all Australian billfish species (blue, black and striped marlin, sailfish, broadbill swordfish and shortbill spearfish). Other popular sports fishing species include yellowfin tuna, mahi-mahi (dolphinfish), wahoo, cobia, Spanish mackerel, giant trevally and many others.

Every year in March the Exmouth Game Fishing Club hosts its Gamex tournament which always produces some fantastic – often record-breaking – results.

Can't speak highly enough
Many thanks to Warren and Aspa for the fantastic service and helpful hints and tips with great local knowledge. Certainly makes for a good holiday knowing you have the backup of the friendliest and most reliable outfit on the coast. Boats were great, more than suitable for both the diving and the great bluewater fishing we did. Even recommend hiring the clear bottomed kayaks, which were great inside the reef and in Yardie Creek. We use these guys every time we come to Exmouth and can't speak highly enough of their service and friendly help.
