Look no further for your perfect family holiday home; Rockpool is located in Old Dunsborough just a five minutes walk to the oceans edge and is the ideal home for a beach-side getaway.

Town is close by with easy access via the beach path or only a minutes drive away. At your doorstep there is a multitude of outdoor activities including a safe netted swimming area, early morning walks along the beach, a playground, boating, fishing and much more.

The space
This single level house offers an abundant outdoor entertaining with two great outdoor spaces capturing the ocean views and north sun, perfect all year around. The front deck and grassed area is perfect for both relaxing or entertaining. Enjoy a wine and put the barbecue on for an easy meal, all whilst soaking in the amazing ocean views! If you’re lucky the backyard fruit trees will be fruiting and you will be able to grab a lemon to squeeze on your meal.

Rockpool is a spacious home suitable for one to two families, or, a group of friends getting together to enjoy beachside holidaying.

Walk through the main door straight into the hub of the house, kitchen and dining area can be found to your right. The kitchen is a great size and has been newly fitted with a dishwasher, new ovens, microwave, stove-top and has everything one needs to create a gourmet meal.

To your left, there is the first TV/lounge area which has been set up with Netflix. If games are more your thing, the second living space has a variety to choose from which you can play with your friends and family. Plenty of spaces for everyone.

The master bedroom has one king bed and looks out onto the front lawn. The second bedroom has one queen and one single bed and the third bedroom is decked out with three singles and a secondary TV and couch so there can be two movie nights going on at once.

Wifi is available and table tennis is coming soon.

Extra fees: Please be aware that all bookings have a $66 booking fee and $250 cleaning surcharge added to them. Bond is $1000.

Please be aware that a 7 night minimum stay is required during the Christmas/New Year break.

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies

We require a 25% deposit at the time of booking in order to secure the reservation. Full payment including refundable bond of $1 000 is required 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your booking.

If the booking is made within 6 weeks then full payment is required to confirm your reservation. Should you cancel your accommodation the deposit is forfeited.

As per HIGHLIFE Holiday Properties policy a Security Bond of between $1000.00 is payable on all holiday properties.

This bond is fully refundable once the stay has finished and the clean / property inspection have been completed and no damage has been reported. The property is required to be left in a clean and tidy state as you found the property on your arrival. This requires that the barbecue is to be clean dishwasher loaded and cycle commenced (cleaners will empty). Please allow for up to 3 weeks for the bond to be returned. Fireplaces cleaned all furniture to be returned to original positioned as arrival and all keys/remotes to be returned as per instructions at the end of your stay. Please be aware that for all stays a cleaning surcharge of $250 will apply. A booking fee of $66.00 is also required. This amount is non refundable.

Old Dunsborough is close to everything that the Southwest has to offer. The house is located right next to a beach that is great for swimming, fishing and boating. A curry van comes to the grassed area over Summer so you can take a picnic rug down and enjoy the sunset from there. Our favorite is the butter chicken (its delicious).

If you are wanting to explore the surf side, that is just a mere 15 minute drive away. If you are an avid walker you can even visit the coastline via foot along the Cape to Cape track (which runs close by the house).

If you have a few wineries you want to visit, the large majority of these are on Caves Road, which is a 15 - 20 minute drive.

Beautiful property, amazing access to the beach and lovely views from the front. The layout of the house was awesome for our young family with the back bedroom doubling as a seperate activity area. The backyard was also a lovely space for them to play. Really loved our stay!

Great Spot
Perfect location, short stroll to the beach and close to other amenities. Plenty of space for the whole family and well equipped. We would definitely recommend and return again for our next stay.
