Good spot

We were surprised when the reception staff came out to greet us and give us info to make our stay good while in Port Hedland. The room is dated, but had a good amount of space for us to move around in. Great free wifi, free parking. We didn’t get to use the pool, but did walk to the beach from the hotel. Fridge in room and coffee/tea station.

Good value for money, close to the beach

We came back after several years, and as last time, we enjoyed our four night stay. The hotel appears a little dated, but is very reasonably priced. Comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfast included, friendly staff, nice and spacious pool area. There are rooms with sea view, and to the beach, it‘s just a five minutes walk. Unfortunately we arrived too early for the turtles.
There were only two things we didn’t like: The wifi got worse and worse. And the second one: At our first dinner in the restaurant we ordered the Peking Style Duck Breast and it was delicious, with really crispy skin as it should be and perfectly timed seasonable vegetables. Because of this very positive experience we came back for dinner some days later and ordered the same meal again. But this time, we weren‘t happy at all. Some minutes after we ordered we already got the meal, rarely a good sign. The duck breast wasn‘t crispy and tender at all, the vegetables just warm salad. We couldn‘t believe the difference

Great for an overnight stay

Owner Ferg absolutely wonderful, so helpful, great customer service, a really nice guy. Food very yummy can eat at restaurant or in room. Pool great. Located opposite the beach. Great place to stay, highly recommend.
