Description
HeliSpirit is Western Australia’s largest helicopter specialist, operating across the vast North West. Australia’s North West land mass contains some of the most spectacular scenery in Australia and the majority of the unique features are accessible only by helicopter. Views from the air are stunning and add yet another dimension to accessing and landing in these beautiful, remote, secret places, providing unforgettable adventures.
Our head office is in Kununurra – the gateway to the East Kimberley, a tropical town with around 7000 residents. Kununurra is 42km from the Northern Territory border and services tens of thousands of tourists each year with the tourist season being from April – October. HeliSpirit has bases in Kununurra, Warmun, Mitchell Falls, Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungle), El Questro, Katherine and Lake Argyle Resort. Locally owned, HeliSpirit was formerley Heliwork WA. Slingair and Heliwork WA were founded by Kimberley aviation pioneer Kerry Slingsby, bought by Curry Kenny Aviation in 2008 and then the Aviator Group in 2011. In 2014 Michael McConachy and Geoff Hamilton purchased Heliwork WA and rebranded it HeliSpirit. In 2016 they purchased Aviair, an aeroplane charter and regular passenger service regional airline operating air services from Karratha and Kununurra.
Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
CANCELLATION POLICY | With less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation from the time of tour departure the fare is NON-REFUNDABLE. From 24 hours and up to 7 days’ notice a 20% administration fee will be charged per booking. We recommend that all customers take out travel insurance. In the event of a tour being cancelled by us customers will be entitled to a full refund without penalty.

Superb views
After walking in, we helicoptered out from Mitchell Falls. The view was superb and the pilot took us over the falls a number of times so we could see them from different angles. We enjoyed the trip thoroughly and the pilot was a delightful young man who provided an interesting commentary as we went. We also flew with Helispirit over the Bungle Bungles and were equally satisfied with our experience there, so they are certainly doing something right!Great fun
We walked into the falls and booked a return helicopter flight. It gave us great perspective of the area we had walked and a sensational view of the falls. Well worth while.Absolutely Stunning!!!
There isn't a lot to say about Mitchell Falls other than it is absolutely amazing!!! My dad and I did the coastal tour with our wonderful pilot, Nigel. This trip was just magical and I would recommend for everyone to do this. WA coastline is just stunning. Thanks HeliSpirit for a life changing experience ❤️
