The single-level cottage (The York) is perfect for a couple. It features a separate kitchen and lounge area with a large picture window looking through the garden, over the Amity Brig to Hanover Bay. The bedroom has a king-size bed and spacious en-suite bathroom with heated towel rails, double hand basins and showers. With a choice of pillows to choose from. The York cottage is suitable for guests with mild physical difficulties.

The Vancouver, one of the two-storey townhouses, has two bedrooms downstairs - The main bedroom features a king-size bed and double shower en-suite with heated towel rails, sheoak timber benches and double hand basins. The second bedroom is also furnished with a king-size bed. The second bedroom has its own bathroom which also includes a washing machine and dryer. And a choice of pillows to suit your requirements. Upstairs in the Vancouver townhouse is a galley kitchen with separate lounge and dining areas. Off the dining area is a north-facing deck with a barbecue and views over the city and some water views.

The Lockyer Apartment is a Two-Bedroom/Two-Bathroom Townhouse two-level, with the two bedrooms downstairs. The main bedroom features a luxurious king size bed and a spacious en-suite bathroom with double showers. The second bedroom also has a king bed and its own bathroom which also includes a washing machine and dryer.. Upstairs is a well-equipped galley kitchen and and sitting room. A south-facing deck (with mini Webber BBQ) off the upstairs dining room provides magnificent views over the brig Amity and Princess Royal Harbour.

Any cancellation notified within 24 hours of check-in is accepted no questions asked.

Starting at the York Street/Stirling Terrace roundabout, head west in Stirling Terrace about 500 metres. Drive past the Old Gaol, cross over Parade St (where Stirling Terrace becomes Festing St). Hanover Bay Apartments is the second property on your left-hand (south) side.

Hanover Bay Apartments is a group of 4 (I think) apartments. We were in York which an apartment suitable for wheelchair access - it has a single story. The other apartments appear to be 2 stories. The location is great, its a short walk to the main street of Albany, various cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. The replica of the Amity is less than 100 metres away. There is a railway line nearby, the sound of an occasional train did not bother us, but if you are train-averse take note. The apartment was spotless and well equipped, we discovered items such as fly spray and glad wrap and an umbrella that we would not normally expect to see. We stayed for two weeks, which I think may be unusual for this group of apartments as the apartment is not cleaned/serviced daily unless you request it. We did get a change of linen/towels after the first week which was fine.

Reliably impressive
This is our 3rd stay in the York apartment. Clean, modern, quiet yet perfectly located. King size bed is super comfy and the mini chocolate bars are a sweet touch. If I could make a suggestion, it would be great to be able to watch our own iPad movies on the big screen provided. Seemed the only option was either tv or the Blu-ray provided.
Looking forward to our next visit!

Above average accommodation in great location
Very modern, clean, well equipment one bedroom apartment in close proximity to town centre. Peaceful and relaxing no problem recommending especially during winter months. Wouldn’t hesitate to return if we came back down to Albany.
