Great Food - Friendly Staff
Convenient stopping place between Perth and Albany with a very good restaurant. Excellent value meals - large portions of tasty well-presented food. The motel is clean and comfortable - a bit dated but good value budget accommodation.

Clean and comfortable room - attached roadhouse food a pleasant surprise
We had a large group staying in town for a local party - we just needed a place to rest our heads but were pleasantly surprised by how roomy the apartments were and the fact they had all the extras you need for a longer term stay - we stayed in two of the two-bedroom units they were connected but the staff couldn't find the key - as it was raining rather heavily it would have made things a little easier to socialise - oh well maybe that was the idea??
In the morning we headed to the roadhouse attached to the motel and were pleasantly surprised by the great range, freshness and quality of the roadhouse food. A very good sign is how busy they were on a Sunday morning and how many of the customers were locals.

A necessary stopover that was a great deal better than anticipated
We had to make a stop overnight here between Perth and Albany. At first sight, the motel looked poor. But there was no other choice. However, our impression was wrong. The staff at the motel were friendly and helpful, if terribly overworked. The room though standard and hardly new was more than adequate (apart from terrible soft mattresses). However, the attached restaurant was a real surprise. I did not expect good food in a Kojonup motel restaurant. But it was - delicious fish and at a good price. and a pleasant colourful dining room
