A rustic place to visit. Very interesting. Had a great meal and fellowship with other vanners in the cafe.Hamelin pool a must see
Had the pleasure of staying at this Caravan Park this week, what a hidden gem the receptionist recommended I try the Devonshire tea and have to say best scones I have ever had. We had our own van and had a powered site the ablutions are very clean and the water hot a very friendly park from staff to guest will be back for longer next timeA memorable experience
When rating this place, one needs to consider the following: Hamelin Pool is on the edge of nowhere in an isolated, desolate country. The Park must generate its own electricity, provide its own water, septic systems, truck in all food and consumables over long distances - in short, it’s a difficult place to run and maintain.Having said that, we found friendly helpful staff, clean, if tiny donga style rooms with ensuites, a pleasant outdoor area in which to sit and the best value cooked breakfast in Australia at $10.00 per head.
