Alexandra Bridge Camping Ground

Please be advised that the Alexandra Bridge Camping Ground is being upgraded under new state government regulations.

Important information

A maximum of 21 camping sites are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Camping directly along the river is no longer permitted.
Sites and roads have been clearly designated.
A fire management plan has been put in place including the use of open fires.
The Shire recognises the value of this wonderful camp ground. A strong focus is placed on ensuring the grounds can be enjoyed sustainably into the future.

About Alexandra Bridge

A tranquil haven, it features a stunning array of birds and wildlife and the river provides activities such as swimming, canoeing, fishing and boating making it a year round destination for visitors who enjoy camping in a natural environment. The camp site has:

Toilets
Access Toilet
Cold shower
Gas BBQ and shelter
Picnic tables
Rubbish bins
Water
Boat ramp

Dogs are welcome but MUST be on a leash at all times
The following facilities are not provided; Camp kitchen, laundry facilities, hot water, power, chemical dump point.

Bookings are not taken for the camping ground. During the off peak season a self-registration box for camping fees is in place.
