IMPORTANT: Please give at least 24 hours notice before a making a booking Whilst some of our guests like to just kick back and relax and take in the views, maybe gather around the fire pit with a drink or glass of wine, there are many other things that you can do during your stay with us. If you're an early bird, don't miss out on our spectacular sunrises. In the late afternoons, grab a wine and soak up the evening sunset and enjoy your very own sundowner. If you are a stargazer - you are in for a real treat! Look up and see the milky way and the millions of stars sprinkled throughout the night sky - a wonderful experience! Observe the seasonal activities around the farm, whether it be rounding up the sheep for shearing, planting the crops, or watching the header harvesting our grains. Our guests can view our sheep, cattle, and alpacas if they are located in the nearby paddock. Pack a picnic lunch and go for a wander around the farm, but please keep to the firebreaks (round the edges of the paddocks). Take a wander down to the shearing shed and see where our shearing takes place. We will be undertaking some re-vegetation over the coming years, planting out a native walk through garden to demonstrate some of our beautiful native species that grow locally around our district. We hope to bring in some native bird life by planting in some corridors. Why not plant a tree to reduce your carbon footprint during your stay? You are most welcome to plant a tree during the winter months to contribute to our native garden. Why not check out our half day self drive Earthquake discovery tour. Take in the sights with a short self-drive trip around our town to discover and learn a little about Meckering's history. Please be aware, you are visiting and staying on a working farm, livestock and water points are located around the farm, young children are to be supervised at all times. Please note that NO PETS are permitted, due to our farm animals on site. For 1 night stays, a $30 cleaning fee applies to all bookings. We trust that you will enjoy your time at Ironbark Farm Stay.

Guest Ratings
This place is fantastic, for families and couples too.
Beautiful farm stay in a well set up cabin, we brought everything we thought we would need - turns out we didn’t need to bring anything really but ourselves, the owners have really thought of every little thing!Lots of bedding, heater, own shower/toilet, tv, comfy bed, all dining and cutlery, excellent bbq, well stocked up wood for the fire which was replaced the next day, condiments, complimentary tea etc and milk - everything you need!
The cabins are located within a fenced area which was great peace of mind bringing our dog; and also kids that we were enclosed.
Beautiful scenery in the surrounding areas, sitting outside with a fire under the epic stars at night was a highlight. Farming equipment to explore which the kids loved, and animals to spot, a short drive to other towns to explore too in the wheatbelt, such as Northam, York and Cunderdin etc and a Shell servo a quick 3min drive away.
The owners are lovely and welcoming, keep up the great work guys we will be back!
We had a wonderful stay!
It was quiet and so peaceful. The beautiful night sky was amazing.Water pressure was good, heater worked well so it was very warm and cozy inside. Highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for that peaceful getaway from hustle and bustle from the city life without spending a fortune!
Just one thing to add is that the mattress was a bit uncomfortable and the metal bed frame made a lot of noise when you get in and out of the bed
Other than that, everything else was great!!
We will be back.
This is not resort accommodation, but well equipped, clean and with lots of little touches making an ideal wheatbelt farmstay. sunrises, sunsets and fire pits for each cottage sealed the deal.
