Onsite there is a viewing area into our distillery chamber and informational videos available, so you can soak in all the sandalwood information, from history to manufacturing. The Sandalwood Shop Café offers a good range of meals and beverages and is certainly well suited to cater for big groups of travellers. All of our products contain sandalwood, a natural wellness ingredient with a warm woody fragrance and amazing functional properties that make it ideal for skin and aroma-based applications.
For those seeking something unique, be sure to try ‘The Cone, the Gong and the Bowl’- an unforgettable therapeutic experience in the form of vibrational sound therapy known as Gonging. The use of sandalwood essential oil in these Gong sessions adds an extra layer of relaxation. Gong sessions do fill up fast so bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.
Previously known as Mt Romance, The Sandalwood Shop based in Albany is truly an icon that’s been in existence for over 20 years- making it an essential Albany experience for visitors and locals alike.

Good place to get all personal needs like shampoos, deodorants, bath salts, perfumes body scents and lotions and creams etc each. Also some sandalwood confectionery. Cafe in same building which is great for morning and afternoon teas plus yummy healthy lunches. Worth a visit to either buy something new and different or just stock up on favourite items.Gorgeous
I received my Pure Australian Sandalwood Larrikin Shampoo last week.The whole family has been using it and absolutely love it. It leaves our hair feeling soft and smelling GORGEOUS! The Indigenous themed design on the bottle is just amazing. I would definitely recommend rhis product.
