Cancellation and Schedule Policy

Tour departures are subject to weather conditions and minimum numbers. A lot of planning goes in behind the scenes to ensuring minimum numbers are met and that you get to experience your tour on your chosen date.

All Tours are non-refundable and will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Requests for reschedules must be made in writing to info@charter1.com.au. Please quote your booking reference and requested changes. Please note only one reschedule will be allowed per booking and the following rules regarding advance notice apply:

At least 72 hours notice: Permitted. Alternative date must be chosen at the time. Further changes are not permitted.
24-72 hours notice: Incurs a $25pp late change fee. Further changes are not permitted.
Less than 24 hours notice: Not permitted.

Charter 1 reserves the right to reschedule tours where minimum numbers are not met or when unsafe weather conditions are forecast or on the rare occasion of mechanical failure. We will always try to give you as much notice as possible. The final decision is at the discretion of the skipper on the day. If your tour is cancelled by us due to inclement weather (which is at the sole discretion of Charter 1) we will work with you to find an alternate suitable date or an alternative experience of at least equal value or provide you with a refund.

Guest name transfers are permitted if at least 24 hours notice is given in writing. Please provide guests full name mobile number and email address.

If you are late we cannot hold up the vessel and other guests for you so please always be waiting at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

All Cancellations will incur a 100% fee.
