This retreat is the perfect escape with private walking trails throughout the property. You’ll have 20 acres to explore, leaving plenty of space to enjoy the natural landscape up close and personal. The loft is surrounded by bush, gardens, and beautiful birds. You’ll be immersed in the quiet serenity of the bushlands while enjoying this cozy space inside and out.
Our amenities are perfect for taking a breath of fresh air. Take a swim in the secluded swimming pool, walk through the picturesque gardens for pictures, take a break in your own private courtyard with outdoor furniture, gardens and a gas barbecue in the enclosed BBQ Area. There is also a work desk available to make life easier.
There’s enjoyment here for all seasons of the year! Whether it’s swimming, hiking, barbecuing, relaxing either by the fireplace or seeing the beautiful bush land from your accommodation. You’re at home in this secluded, convenient getaway any time of the year.
Your dogs will enjoy time away from their busy lives being our best buds! With 4 enclosed dog pens, a raised dog bed, and swimming areas throughout the property. Take them on long hikes or sit back and enjoy the outdoor seating areas with them, they’ll be in holiday heaven too. And should you need a night out, we provide dog sitting and walking services too!

What’s best about this stay is how close it is to Perth. At less than 40 minutes to the city, It’s a quick drive for a night out, and a quick drive back to escape it all over again. No need to travel hours south to enjoy peace, quiet and a getaway. No need to holiday far away from delicious, fine dining and the nightlife experience you crave. And if you’re a fan of fine wines, check out the local gems in the Bickley Valley or the Swan Valley. They won’t disappoint.

Great location!
We had a ball staying at Mountolive Studio, great location not too far away from the city. The studio was very clean and had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. Our dogs had the best time in the pool and exploring the trails and property and were even entertained by bob the local possum. Would highly recommend to anyone with pets who want that bit of an escape from the daily grind.Lovely!

We had a wonderful time at Junkos property. The highlights were waking up surrounded by trees, the pool & the walking trails. Our fur baby Leo had a fantastic time exploring the property & loved the treats & tennis ball provided. The free beer & wine were a thoughtful inclusion and the house had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday in the hills. Would definitely recommend Junkos place to friends and family.
