Scattered 22km off the coast of Onslow in Western Australia, two of these ten pristine islands and atolls welcome guests – Thevenard Island with a choice of beachfront cabins and single or double rooms, and Direction Island for the ultimate wilderness escape, where you can rent your own island with a sole beach shack.

THEVENARD ISLAND
Home to 12km of sandy beaches and thriving fringing reefs to explore, Thevenard Island is a little slice of barefoot paradise.

Stay in a range of 2 and 3 bedroom beachfront cabins overlooking the Indian Ocean, each one combining basic home comforts with tasteful simplicity.

Designed for relaxation, the cabins feature a kitchen, dining and lounge. The shaded outdoor beachfront area is the perfect place to enjoy a BBQ, taking in the spectacular ocean views and spotting the island’s wildlife after a day of adventure.

Visit the island’s tour and activity centre to hire out equipment like snorkel gear, fishing rods and kayaks, book a tour, join a Dinner Under The Stars, use the guest laundry, or shop at the island general store.

DIRECTION ISLAND
Stay on your own private island! If you’ve ever wanted to experience the seclusion of having an island all to yourself, Direction Island would have to be WA’s best kept secret.

Nestled within its own coral reef, Direction Island is a sun-drenched, sandy jewel where you can swim, snorkel, kayak, fish, go on beach walks and spot whales from the shore.

The island’s sole beach shack has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, dining and lounge area. Enjoy sweeping ocean views from the upstairs deck while you soak up the sunshine, peace and quiet.

Recharge your batteries and play castaway, a world away from any of life’s pressures. It will be all yours to explore in rustic, untouched nature.

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies

Our normal cancellation policies are in place, however if a government imposed border closure or snap lockdown occurs that will impact your stay, or if you are unable to travel due to coronavirus (Covid-19) illness, and you have missed the refund period, we will extend an option to take a 12 month credit instead so you can postpone your stay.

Cancel 28 days or more prior to your arrival date = full refund less 10% administration fee of monies paid.
Cancellations made inside the 28 day period = will not be issued with a refund.
All no shows will be charged full payment.
