DIVING CHARTERS (book direct on 08 9071 5757)

Esperance has over 140 islands in the Recherché Archipelago and subsequently many wonderful dive sites to choose from. The islands are washed by crystal clear turquoise water.
These granite intrusions provide large caves, boulders and swim-throughs for the diver to explore. The temperate water is the perfect environment for the prolific growth of colourful soft corals and sponges. These line the caves and boulders and the array of colour is breath taking. Esperance is also blessed with areas of hard coral. This is usually in the form of plate coral and is always teeming with tiny colourful fish.

Morning Departs 9.00am, returns 12.30pm.

Departing from Taylor St Jetty at 9am sharp, cruise past the Esperance foreshore and Port Authority. The vessel then makes its way around Lovers Cove, West Beach & Blue Haven before heading out to various islands in the Recherche Archipelago. Enjoy a full commentary throughout the cruise whilst viewing wildlife in their natural environment.

Our regular sightings include: – New Zealand Fur Seals – Australian Sea Lions – Cape Barren Geese – Common and Bottlenose Dolphins – White-bellied Sea Eagles (including feeding) – Whales (season dependent)

Enjoy complimentary morning tea in the protected bay of Thomas Island. Snorkelling equipment is provided for those wanting to enjoy the water. The vessel then cruises through remaining islands to view wildlife before returning to Esperance by 12.30pm.

Staff were really friendly and willing to help. Got to see quite a few sea animals pretty close up! Snorkelling gear was also provided and the area to snorkel was nice and calm.

Cruise out along the Recherche Archeprlago
If you are staying in Esperance do not miss the opportunity to spend the morning out on the water with Captains Colin and Roger and crew Vaughan from Esperance Island Cruises. We enjoyed this cruise immensely. The scenery is ruggedly beautiful and the wildlife surpassed all expectation. As hobbyist bird photographers to see and photograph those beautiful Sea Eagles up so close was spectacular. The commentary given by Roger is informative and interesting relating to the history and also the modern commercial use of the harbour. The warmth and enthusiasm begin when you enter the shop on the Esplanade to make a booking and you are greeted by Jaimen, This extends out onto the water with the crew who obviously love what they do and endeavour in every way to make sure everyone has a great experience. We just loved it, Thanks to all.

Great day
We had a great day, staff were great, morning tea was lovely, photo opportunities aplenty. Keep it up, guys.
