We are super proud of and extremely excited to invite you to join us on the Rockingham Coastal Tour!

Kicked off in the Spring of 2018 this tour will involve 13.5km of Rockingham’s breathtakingly beautiful coastline, a couple of very excitable tour guides and one retro bicycle!

You will be met at the meeting point and then be transported to the starting point of the Jaunt, a beautiful spot, perched high up at top of the Warnbro Coastal Sand Dunes – here you will be able to get an amazing view of the big blue Warnbro sound, the first of many photo ops to come!

You will then be provided with your bike, a helmet, water bottle & given a brief on what the morning will bring. Before we set off we will take a moment to recognise and give thanks to the Traditional Owners of the land and then we are off!!

The Tour is a leisurely cycle along the coastal pathways from Warnbro Dunes to Rockingham Beach where you will pass renowned landmarks like Penguin Island, Seal Island, The Pond, Shoalwater Bay & Lake Richmond. Along the way there will be various stops where you will have the opportunity to take in the view, snap a few photos and also learn from your guide about topics ranging from local wildlife, the various coastal ecosystems we will encounter, local history and even personal stories from a life growing up in such a wonderful aquatic playground.

Your guide will touch on the fragility of the coast and you will hear some great tips on how we can do our bit protect this pristine natural environment while out enjoying ourselves.

The tour will conclude back at the Catalpa Memorial aka the Flying Geese Statue (opposite the meeting point) where we will finish the tour with a tale of daring escape usually found in Hollywood movies!

The Rockingham Coastal Tour is suitable for ages 12 and up, and can be managed by all fitness levels. Aside from a few hills at the start, the ride is nice and flat and with all of the stops along the way, it is a nice and relaxed way to spend your morning whilst taking in the beautiful scenery, you never know, we might even spot some seals or dolphins along the way!

It's always great to know what others think. So here's some comments from those with experience here.

Beautiful tour of an amazing coastline
Beaitiful tour of an amazing place
What a fantastic way to absorb the magical coastline around Rockingham and Warnbro. Spending the morning with Joe and Nat taking in the natural delights of the coast was the perfect way to start summer.
Our guide Joe's passion for the coast is obvious and his knowledge of the area was 2nd to none. He was happy to answer any questions that we had for him.
Would definitely recommend the tour for anyone visiting the Rockingham area.
We were lucky enough to get some beautiful photos and even saw some dolphins :)

A great way to spend a morning. Well paced and picturesque tour with spectacular views and plenty of stops for photo ops. Joe was a really knowledgable and entertaining guide and had lots of interesting stories and facts about the area.

The bikes were excellent and it was an easy ride the whole way.

Great value and service, would definitely recommend, this part of the coast is a hidden gem and only a short trip from the city.

A cool way to take in the picturesque Coastline
It was a fantastic ride along the coast on the bike path. We were able to stop to take photos and ask lots of question. The bikes were great and everything was ready for us. Joe and Nat were fantastic and energetic guides who knew the area well. I highly recommend it to anyone.
