Cheynes Beach Caravan Park
Cheynes Beach is a protected cove, situated 68kms east of Albany, an accessible beach that stretches for kilometres with aqua blue waters and sparkling white sands. Like much of the region, the area is undeveloped and virtually unspoilt. Offering little opportunity for agricultural development this part of the world is... filled with these small undisturbed sanctuaries that hug the coast and provide a stunning backdrop for a camping expedition. The whole region is a series of crevices and crannies and thick scrubby coastal bush. Home to various marsupials including Quenda, Ring Tail Possum and numerous species of birds, some of which are endemic to WA, it is not uncommon to have to share quarters with the local wildlife. The hills that are strewn with polished granite boulders and the green foliage and crystal waters make for a unique and memorable place to visit. view more info

The staff are friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the ensuite cabin. It was nice, clean and had good amenities. Would stay again and highly recommend.hidden gem
Great protected beach, excellent close by 4WD-ing. Fishing & swimming. Caravan park is clean and well kept. There is a good onsite fast food van for coffee & burgers (and lots else) between 8:30 & 8:30. Lots of small birds (fairy-wrens) in the park. Lots of kangaroos pass through at night (small & quite tame). Our site was large and powered - it was a tent site, but we used our camper trailer (not small).
Parking and wash down for boats. The area with a bench for fish cleaning. Take your boat, paddle board, etc. Good family environment.
Great for fishing
Beautiful place. Near beach, friendly owners and staff. It's more off a fishing place. If you like fishing this is the place for you. Space to park your boat if towing one. Big blockes for groups. So coming as a group you can set roughly 4 caravans on one block. They have kangaroos there too.
