Description

Beach House at Middleton was built in 1945 by the current owner's family, providing a summer beach destination for over half a century. It has recently been restored to a high standard of comfort and amenity, but retains its sense of heritage with original jarrah floors, doors and weatherboard cladding.

Fully self contained, the house sleeps four in a main bedroom with double bed and two single rooms each with single bed, making it ideal for a family. There is a comfortable lounge with gas heating and wood fireplace, a large kitchen/dining area, a family room and a spacious bathroom laundry with separate toilet. A grassed area at the rear and a front porch are ideal spots to enjoy the early morning and late afternoon sun.

Relaxing week at the beach
Our family enjoyed a wonderful week exploring Albany and the region while staying at this lovely, well-appointed home. We found everything we needed to sleep comfortably, prepare meals, and for the kids to spread out and play. And the beach is less than a 5-minute walk. Perfect!

Roomy cottage
We had a very comfortable stay just before Christmas. Very clean, lovely old fashioned family cottage. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a cosy winter retreat
We stayed in this gorgeous little cottage right in the middles of winter. It was freezing outside (the kids even made a snowman out of hail!) but perfectly cosy inside. The location is excellent, there is a fabulous cafe and wine bar just around the corner and the stunning Middleton beach is also just down the road. The town centre is only a few minutes away by car and there is an excellent walking/cycling path that runs all along Middleton Beach to Emu point (where you can stop in at the cafe for an amazing breakfast). The beds and pillows are comfortable and there are plenty of extra blankets if needed. The shower is hot and water pressure is good too. The lounge room with its comfortable couches and open fireplace is the perfect place to relax with a book and glass of wine. If we return to Albany we will definitely stay here again!
