Description
The view from The Silos is amazing during the day as it overlooks farmland and the Hyden townsite but is spectacular in the evenings when the CBH and Hyden townsite lights glow!
Registered for workers accommodation, there are twelve separate rooms, 8 with queen beds and 4 with king singles, so it can hold up to 20 people if needed.
The History
Ensuring some of the history of the abattoir has remained, the main building itself used as a communal space for The Silos’ guests. The abattoir hooks are still on display in the kill room, which has been turned into a communal kitchen, while the former holding area has been converted into an outdoor dining area and the cool room is now a dining room.
The shed, which was previously the boiler room, has also been turned into a recreational room, equipped with a television, lounge, table tennis table and another dining table in there to keep guests entertained.

Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
To secure your booking with Wave Rock Country Cottage - The Silos please pay in full within 48 hours of making your booking. Once payment has been received an email with your confirmation letter will be sent.
Changing Reservation Dates: Provided 14 days’ notice is given we can honour this request. However booking can only be changed once from the original booking dates.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received in writing and policy does not apply after the booking has commenced.
14 days+ notice: Refund of monies paid less cancellation administration fee of $30
Within 14 days from arrival date: If the cottage is able to be rented out you are eligible for a refund. If the booking tariff is less than your original booking you will be liable for the difference. (i.e. your booking was $200 and the replacement booking is $140 you will be liable for the shortfall of $60 plus $30 administration fee as mentioned above) All other refund requests are at the discretion of the property manager.
Cancellation fee ($30):
This may be redeemed when booking your next holiday with us (provided the rebooking is within 12 months of the cancellation date). When the cancellation refund is received a letter will also be attached. This letter will act as a voucher for the $30 cancellation fee. This original voucher must be presented on arrival for this to be honoured.
Refund conditions: Providing the necessary notice has been given and you are able to receive a refund the remaining deposit will be refunded by the same method in which they were originally paid.
ALL REFUNDS ARE PROCESSED AT THE END OF EVERY MONTH.

Great Clean Room
Great clean room with ensuite. Close to rock and town. Very well equipped kitchen and games room. We had a great time exploring the area. RecommendedClean and Comfy
Very clean, super comfy bed, spacious and was perfect for our stop over needs. Super easy booking and easy late night arrival and location was very well communicated. ?Good value for money
This place was great, such good value for money. Basic transportable rooms, but the shared living area with TV and table tennis table was large, kitchen and dining shed was very well equipped (mini oven, toaster, jugs, sandwich press, lots of pans and knives and plates etc) and clean. Rooms were comfy, plenty of shelves to store stuff on. I've stayed in $300+ air bnbs that have had smaller TV's and worse reception than these rooms, the owner has clearly made a solid well thought out effort here. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
