Strelley Brook is a lovingly restored self contained rustic farmhouse on a 4 hectare estate bordered by a tree lined brook and surrounded by vineyards and farmland. Owners Rex and Lina McCrae offer affordable, cosy accommodation only 30 minutes’ drive from the centre of Perth and 20 minutes’ drive from both Perth airports. Their estate is home to a flock of dorper sheep, cows, chooks, ducks and other farm animals, all supervised by Shilo the border collie. Centrally located to the Swan Valley’s many wineries and attractions and built around 1860, the cottage offers privacy and a romantic setting with modern conveniences. This charming mud brick cottage has panoramic views of the magnificent Darling Ranges and neighboring vineyards. In winter, snuggle up in front of the open fire with a glass of red wine. In warmer months, relax out on the open verandahs and enjoy the clear, star filled skies. Discounts are available for extended stays.

The Farmhouse is fully self contained and sleeps six people. Two bedrooms with queen beds and third bedroom with 2 single beds. The modern kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven and microwave, and there is a barbecue on the verandah. The spacious lounge/dining room has a TV DVD and stereo.

Amazing Cottage that takes you back to yesteryear.
Was an absolute delight find this cottage and having the pleasure of being able to stay there. Absolutely loved all the history in the cottage. Was so beautiful and peaceful and ince we lit the fire it was warm and cosy. I would definitely come back one day. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Love the stroll around the property.
