Located in the heart of the Avon Valley and around an hour’s drive from Perth, Muresk Institute’s historic setting is the quintessential venue for your next corporate event, retreat, camp or field trip.
This iconic venue harnesses its valued heritage and culture whilst featuring modern amenities.
Conference facilities
Muresk Institute is the ideal environment for corporate events, seminars, meetings, retreats and camps.
The business centre hosts a conference room (seating up to 300 people theatre style) and two breakout rooms. All rooms in the business centre have computer network/internet access and multimedia capabilities.
Muresk Hall includes a stage and seats up to 350 people in theatre style and is often used for graduation ceremonies and formal functions.
Muresk also has three fully equipped modern lecture theatres (seating 45, 110 and 145 people), classrooms, science and computer labs.
Retreats, camps and field trips.
The amenities and relaxed, rural setting create the perfect environment for a retreat or camp.
The specialised training and research facilities (science laboratories, glass house, machinery and livestock sheds) are ideal for agriculture and geography field trips.
Accommodation
Hosting your event and accommodating your guests on site takes the stress out of parking and transit, leaving more time for business, training or simply enjoying what Muresk Institute has to offer.
Short or long term accommodation is available:
•118 single rooms located in the three historic halls of residence (shared bathroom, kitchen and lounge facilities);
•four cottages (two self-contained); and
•three houses.
Catering
The Institute has a full catering service (available upon prior request) with a commercial kitchen and large dining hall.
The Dempster Homestead houses a gracious federation style dining room with polished floors and antique furniture. The homestead offers three dining areas accommodating 10 to 110 people.
