Commonly referred to as "The Chocolate Factory", The Margaret River Chocolate Company is one of Western Australia's most popular tourist attractions, with manufacturing, sales and cafe facilities in both Margaret River and the Swan Valley. We have recently opened a concept store right in the heart of Perth at 317 Murray Street.
The (original) Margaret River factory is located on a peaceful and picturesque rural property just 20 minutes from both Margaret River and Busselton. The company's second factory is located in the heart of Perth's historic Swan Valley, just 20 minutes from the Perth CBD.
Both locations provide a fascinating insight into the world of chocolate, with visitors treated to FREE chocolate tastings, interactive displays, viewing windows to watch the chocolate products being made and a friendly, holiday atmosphere.
A wealth of information on all aspects of chocolate is available, plus both factories sell a huge, mouth-watering range of chocolate bars, chocolate coated delights, hand made truffles, novelty chocolates, chocolate body products, chocolate sauce, cookies, ice-cream, chocolate milk and a variety of chocolate cakes. There's something for everyone, with well over 100 different products on offer!
The Margaret River Chocolate Company's facilities also include a cafe for casual indoor and outdoor dining. So, sit for a while and relax in our comfortable setting whilst enjoying fabulous food. Our menu showcases fresh produce from our organic vegetable garden, orchard and olive grove located on our farm. All the cakes in our cafe are made in house and fresh. We usually have between 10 and 15 different cakes to choose from... Rocky road or Cookies and cream cheese cakes right through to gluten free orange and almond cakes and of course a traditional mud cake and more.
We welcome visitors of all ages with friendly, helpful staff, fantastic products, plenty of parking and a welcoming, fully air-conditioned environment. We look forward to your visit soon.

Irresistible
In an area festooned with vineyards and wineries, we couldn’t resist a chocolate stop. We weren’t disappointed. What a glorious range of choices with a viewing area to the hand-making section. Some wonderful ice creams (I tied burnt macadamia - yum). A nice cafe and gardens and friendly helpful staff. Glad we stopped by.Coffee and got chocolate
The famous chocolate factory with their signature treats and free sample chocolate drops. Coffee, the best hot chocolate in the world and cakes was wonderful as always.
