Reasonably good, but as others have mentioned, a bit tired looking and run down. This is not a destination, but a pit stop on your way back from somewhere else. Treated as a stopover, this place is actually really good. Generous and good-tasting coffees, salty, crunchy chips and the grassed area and cubby are great for letting the kids run off a bit of energy. Ice creams are enjoyable, but not particularly notable as something you'd travel a long way just to try. It's okay

Open New Year's Day
Busy, but service prompt and very friendly. Lots of young families with play items for them to use. Decor is rather tired, but clean. The selection of English sweets bring back childhood memories!

I came today with my son. I've worked in hospitality for over 10 years and found the place clean, great/friendly service from the young girl & a lovely outdoor play are for the kids. We had pancakes & they were so well presented on the plate. The only thing that lets the place down is the outdoor tables and chairs are really weather worn.
