With 16 vessels in the fleet to choose from the boats sleep between 2 to 10 people.
Start your holiday with a lazy afternoon in Mandurah and a relaxed cruise around the canals taking in the luxury homes and the even more luxurious boats moored outside. After that it’s up to you! Cross the Peel Inlet and the Murray river beckons with its breathtaking scenery and amazing wildlife. Then cruising at your own pace, moor at the one of the popular restaurants or bars along the way or spend the day crabbing and fishing for your supper.
The real beauty though is that it’s up to you where you go and what you do on your holiday afloat with us.
All Mandurah Houseboat vessels have a fully equipped galley and are supplied with bedding that includes doonas, blankets, pillows and slip (bed sheets and towels are BYO but can be supplied for a small charge).
Other features include outdoor furniture, radio/CD player, BBQ, esky, swimming platform, shaded decks, crab nets, first aid kit and fire extinguishers. In addition, all boats have a GPS system on board to help with navigation and a Ctrack Safety Tracking System for peace of mind.
The rear decks and swim platforms on the boats are sheltered from rain and sun, providing you with comfort in any weather. Up to four crab nets are provided with each boat and scoop nets are also available upon request.
No Skippers Ticket is required to drive the boats at Mandurah Houseboats, however staff provide a comprehensive safety briefing on the workings of the boat, detailing how to read the provided charts and how to recognise the markers you’ll find on the waterways. Mandurah Houseboats staff are patient and extremely helpful when it comes to ensuring that you feel confident enough to operate the vessel before your departure on your houseboat holiday. This briefing is fully AMSA approved in lieu of a Skippers Ticket.
The staff at Mandurah Houseboat are on-call 24 hours a day for emergencies. There’s free public car park behind their offices in Mandurah and free lock-up parking at the Ravenswood base.

Bookings are by number of days NOT nights. Please check your selected days prior to booking. DEPOSIT: $200 FULL PAYMENT: Balance is payable 4 weeks prior to departure. For Easter / Xmas / New Years and Long Weekends balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure. BOND: Payable at check-in. What an adventure
We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway thanks to Mandurah Houseboats!! They did a great job of teaching us the ropes of driving the boat (you only need a drivers licence) and were contactable when we had questions whilst on the water. Our getaway was full of new experiences, dolphin spotting was a fav for kids young and old. Highly recommend this as a family getaway!! From the get-go, this was a truly amazing holiday. Jordan's tuition was clear and understandable. My wife and I had no trouble driving the boat. The river and estuary were awesome as were the restaurants and Boundary Island. The Houseboat was amazing too we all slept in comfort and style. Kids loved it also. We highly recommend Mandurah Houseboats. Big Thanks to Alan, Christine and Jordan. Fantastic.Best time we have had for ages.
So peaceful floating around down the river stopping overnight at different spots. Waking to the beautiful sounds of water birds and if your lucky enough like we were watching the dolphins playing. Thank you Mandurah Houseboats. Well worth it.
