Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
As a small establishment we find it necessary to exercise a strict cancellation policy. A credit card number is required in order to pre-pay the booking to the agent. One nights accommodation at the full rack rate becomes non-refundable should you cancel amend or change your reservation within 8 days of your arrival date. During the Easter long weekend and during the Christmas holiday period (18 Dec to 15 Jan) your card will be charged with the full amount of your stay and is non-refundable. Travel insurance is advised during these periods. Upon quoting credit card details you are agreeing to our booking conditions. Please note that the booking agent (e.g. Visitor Centre) may levy additional cancellation fees.
Reception - Reception is open from 8am to 5pm, 7 days per week.
Check-in - Standard check-in time is 2:00PM. For all arrivals outside opening hours, please be sure to contact our team to arrange alternative check-in arrangements.
Check-out - All guests must vacate their room by 11:00AM on their date of departure. Departure after this time may incur additional charges.
Clean Atmosphere Policy - In accordance with Australian law, our properties have a strict non-smoking/ non- vaping policy. Smoking or vaping is prohibited anywhere in our buildings which is monitored by cctv 24 hours. Please smoke in outside areas only and use the ashtrays provided. If you choose to ignore this policy we have a minimum $250 charge, plus additional costs associated with restoring the room to its original condition.
Damages + Incidentals - Chimes Spa Retreat reserves the right to request guests depart the property whom display a lack of care, damage or disrupt the general atmosphere, guest experience and business reputation during their stay. This includes but is not limited to smoking in house, in room breakages, drug/ alcohol consumption, property damages and/ or in causing unreasonable disruption to other guests. My stay at Chimes was sublime. From the moment I arrived, I was awed by the view and beauty of the location. The rooms are lovely with thoughtful little touches that make such a difference.The spa experience was wonderful and so much more affordable than most spa treatments to be had elsewhere. Thanks to everyone at Chimes for all their hard work - it was the highlight of my stay in the Great Southern.
A get away that everyone should experience!!
loved the warm smiles to greet you, a coffee machine that made me perfect coffee at least 4 times a day! The musueli and fruit compote was fantastic but the fruit toast was the best I had ever tasted!! My husband loved his ham and eggs every morning and the fact he could work the coffee machine! After a stressful year, the spa gave me a good nights sleep every night on a very comfy bed! We loved it! Suzanne and Jack and Mary make me believe Denmark still has the natural charm I am used to having been born in Denmark 72 years ago!!Couple pleasure
Chimes was amazing, totally relaxing. Better than a hotel, a home away from home. Large well-appointed rooms with spas. Beautiful general public area and deck both with amazing estuary and ocean views. The hosts were lovely friendly people and they made a great breakfast The complimentary port by the fire was a nice touch and the day spa on site was unreal
