Please note that there is a three night minimum stay during all long weekends. Escape and unwind in a charming 2 bedroom chalet, suitable for small families and perfect for couples wishing for a getaway to the peace of the country. While away the time reading, fishing, bushwalking, canoeing or venture further and discover some of the regions many scenic drives, wineries, caves, beaches and forests. Return in the evening and savour a local wine while enjoying a wood fire in winter or relax on the verandah viewing the myriad of stars

The spacious 3 bedroom chalet is perfect for families or a group of friends wishing to share.

Children are welcome at Blackwood Banks. Excellent for exploring so bring the bicycles, and pack the wellie boots in winter.

The three quality self contained cedarwood chalets, each in a private setting are in the centre of a 25 acre property, easy access to the river, and a picturesque swimming hole is just a short walk from the chalets.

Centrally located in the southwest region - so stay a while and take a different direction each day.

The chalet features a cosy lounge/dining room with slow combustion wood fire, colour TV, DVD, books and magazines. The main bedroom has a queen bed with electric blanket. The second bedroom contains a double bed and 2 single beds (as a bunk bed). This bedroom is quite small. All linen, towels, doona's and pillows provided. Slate floors throughout the lounge, kitchen and dining area. and both bedrooms are carpeted. A fully equipped kitchen, so all you need to bring is your food. Cot and highchair available on request. Laundry and ironing facilities available on request. Please note that there is a three night minimum stay during all long weekends.

2 Bedroom - Chalet 2

The chalet features a cosy lounge/dining room with slow combustion wood fire, colour TV, DVD, books and magazines. The main bedroom has a queen bed with electric blanket. The second bedroom contains 4 single beds (as 2 sets of bunks). This bedroom is quite small. All linen, towels, doona's and pillows provided. Slate floors throughout the lounge, kitchen and dining area. and both bedrooms are carpeted. A fully equipped kitchen, so all you need to bring is your food. Cot and highchair available on request. Laundry and ironing facilities available on request. Please note that there is a three night minimum stay during all long weekends.

3 Bedroom - Chalet 3

Room Configuration: 3 Bedroom
Max Guests: 12

Each carpeted bedroom features a queen size bed with electric blanket, and 2 singles (set of bunks), with linen and towels supplied. Slate floors throughout the spacious lounge, kitchen and dining areas. Slow combustion wood fire keeps the lounge toasty warm. The kitchen is well equipped with cutlery, crockery, utensils, a crock-pot and rice cooker, also a microwave, stove and fridge. An undercover back veranda with personal gas BBQ. Cot and highchair available on request. Laundry and ironing facilities available on request. Please note that there is a three night minimum stay during all long weekends.

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies

For cancellations received more than one month prior to arrival a full refund will be given (less a $22 admin fee). For cancellation received between one month and three weeks prior to arrival a 50% refund will be offered. Cancellations with only 1 weeks notice will not be refunded unless a replacement booking is secured for the same period.

Directions

From Nannup take the road to Augusta (The Brockman Highway) and 17kms from the Nannup Post Office turn right onto Stacey Road, its 3 kms through the forest to a t-junction, turn right, then immediate right again onto Blackwood Banks.

Cozy & Fabulous Owners

Cozy and well appointed. Fab owners, very helpful and friendly. Loved the fireplace and tonnes of beds. Highly recommend for family stays.

Didn't Want to Leave

We only stayed here for a couple of nights and didn't want to leave.
Plenty of firewood provided, immaculately clean and rainwater brought to the chalet when needed.
Keep up the good work Kurt and Avis.
