A River Cottage is fully furnished, air conditioned and complete with linen, towels (please bring your own beach towels), all appliances to make your holiday a treat. It is perfect for a holiday being situated on a lovely quiet bush setting and yet a short walk along the river to town. It is a family friendly place accessed by a private road. You can sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and take in the quietness of the natural bush or enjoy a tranquil walk by the river. Being in the heart of Margaret River, all the features of the region are close at hand. Visit a winery, go to some galleries, explore nearby caves and relax at the wonderful beaches. All of these things and others are at your doorstep when you stay at A River Cottage. The cottage consists of three bedrooms, two with queen size beds and a third with a bunk bed that has a double bed below and a single bed above. There is also a portable cot that is available free of charge.

Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, so here are our conditions and policies
A cancellation fee of $75 AUD will apply to cover services rendered and in the event of not being able to re-book the accommodation your deposit will not be refundable.
In peak periods accommodation must be paid in full 4 weeks in advance & no refund will be given unless accommodation is re-booked.
In non peak periods no refund will be given if the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the booking commencement unless the accommodation is re-booked.

Directions
Directions to A River Cottage, Margaret River: (Assuming you are approaching from the north or Perth side of Town)
Once in Margaret River continue on the Bussell Hwy until you are approximately in the middle of town. Look for Willmott Ave. It is a "T" junction and has the Margaret River Hotel on the corner. Turn left into Willmott Ave and drive up the hill past Woolworths
on your left and the Post Office on your right. Once over the top of the hill you will see that the road has a large dip and at the bottom of the dip on the left there is a timber sign indicating "Arcadia Chalets".
Drive left down the entry immediately after the sign and follow the narrow private road. The road loops around to the left after about 75m. (Don't go into the parking area at bend in the road). Follow the road around the bend and you will see two double story cottages on your left. A River Cottage is the second one. There is a No15 on the centre verandah post and "A River Cottage" on wall.
There is a parking space at the right side of the house and you can also park parallel to the road just past the house.

Such a lovely place within walking distance to margaret river town centre. Place is cosy, comfortable and fully equipped. The bed linen in partitular was of a high quality and very clean and comfortable beds. We loved the walking trail to the river amongst bush and and lovely tall trees. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit the Margaret River
